The shaman is someone who lives in the world of appearances but is keenly aware of the universal nature that underlies the material world. To solve the problem of balancing the experience of the world of form without getting caught up in its illusionary nature, is the "Dance of the Shaman". There is an old shamanic saying that a shape can never be a color and a color can never be a shape; together they are joined in a single and simple object of knowing. The object that represents that union is the circle, which is the recognition that we are all one divine being, in a myriad of expressions of that eternal, and collective consciousness. In fact, no one of us can actually exist without the other. Come join us as we sit in circle, and together we will heal our individual and collective resistance to our true and divine nature. We die to both being and not being, and embrace a life where there is a shift from the state of conclusion to the beingness of open and free discovery. We also come to realize that seeking a particular outcome is the avoidance of what we do not want to face. The resulting dilemmas are not only the obstacle; they are the vehicles to the arising truth of our essential nature.
This workshop will be highly interactive – through mutual support and sharing, in conjunction with multi-cultural shamanic "journeying" techniques and periods of silent meditation, our individual and collective consciousnesses will profoundly transform. The world is the world because of our beliefs about the world. Are you ready to surrender all of our beliefs about the world and be the world!?
